The Halloween Bushcraft for Kids Event
This activity day has been specially designed, by Serious Outdoor Skills, to be a fun, informative, hands-on day where children will learn some survival, bushcraft and wilderness skills. There will be numerous outdoor activities to keep your child active and entertained throughout the day.
The activities can include being shown how to make a shelter using only what is available from the woods and having the chance to make your own shelter, fire lighting – one of the most exciting activities! You will be practising various fire lighting techniques, some of which may include using electricity, chemicals and the sun, a quick lesson in navigation and making some of your own damper bread to add to your lunch.
The afternoon will consist of pumpkin carving, marshmallows a campfire and lots of fun!
